Doc Rivers to the Clippers?

The season isn’t over yet, but the trade talks and coaching changes have been underway for a while.

The newest talk among post-season changes is Doc Rivers.

After being asked about his future with the Celtics, Rivers was quoted, saying that it “may be time for a change,” causing Celtics fans and basketball lovers to worry. He’s been with the Celtics for nine years and even brought a championship back to Boston in 2008.

The latest news is that Rivers may go to Los Angeles to be the coach of the Clippers, but he’s not going alone. Along with Rivers, the Clippers would get Kevin Garnett and possibly Paul Pierce.

In return, Boston would get Deandre Jordan and their spot in the upcoming NBA Draft.

Although Garnett has a no-trade clause in his contract, he has gone on record, saying he is willing to waive it. This, however, is not the end of this super trade.

There are also reports of the Clippers trading Eric Bledsoe and Blake Griffin for Dwight Howard. Though some are saying that this will never happen, Chris Paul and Howard are talking about possibly playing on a team together.

It’s still too early to tell, but each of these trades will change the dynamics of each team drastically if they go through.
